Turns out you don't need Coilover spanners, just a punch and a hammer.

You won't get the locking nut tight enough with this method. You may also damage the thread doing so. :nea:

Spanners are cheap!

This car also needs this: http://www.ebay.com....7#ht_500wt_1156

I have ordered spanners, I just did it that way so I could get them in because I was getting impatient. They are pretty damn tight.

Thanks guys. The front is now a little lower than in that photo.
No scrubbing issues at all, but it scrapes on everything!

looks awesome saw you on cliff road today but that ride height is going to piss you off. my front lip is the biggest pain in the ass but id rather destroy that then the paint

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

It pissed me off to begin with but now I am used to it, those speed humps on Cliff Rd are a challenge though.
I am considering getting a front lip, just don't know how long it will last..

I got pulled over tonight by possibly Australia's nicest Highway Patrol Officer. He let me off with a warning about my ride height, the lowest point of car is about 60mm off the ground..
So tomorrow I will have to lift it about 40mm to make it just legal :(

I haven't really been doing much to the car recently. I have only fitted clear side indicators and painted the side reflectors silver.

I am picking up a 3" Hi Tech diff back on Thursday to replace the massive cannon I have on it now. Then if the exhaust shop can fit me in on Friday I will be getting the rest of the system replaced with some 3 inch goodness :)

The car got a few presents for Christmas. First was a 3" Hitech diff back, it is booked in for a new dump pipe, cat and mid section next week. I also installed an Ultrex short shifter and am waiting for my APS cold air intake to arrive from Sam.

I am over the black wheels and need a new colour to entertain me for the next 6 months or so until my tyres wear out and I buy new wheels. I had a bit of a play with photoshop this afternoon.. I am open to suggestions for colours as I am finding it hard to pick one. Here are a few examples.
