Over the last few weeks the car has copped an absolute beating from car parks and being parked out the front of mates houses. It is now covered in little dings and some idiot has even keyed part of it
I have been doing some thinking and I am pretty keen to just vinyl wrap the whole thing. I am thinking of a matte black or a matte white. Just wondering what experiences people have had with vinyl wrap and any colours they suggest.
NICE WAGON mate!!!
Sucks about all the damage, but, welcome to my world.
I am currently trying to find someone to wrap my car in digital urban camouflage.
You are a liar, go homes, takes a shower and washs the shames offs of you cause you sucks.

@Maverickxxx: What is digital urban camouflage?
@Staxta: Crown Central, they just left a piece of paper that only said sorry on it.
@Sam: Did you not like the look/colour of it? Or the finish of the product you used?

The quality of the product was decent, but it looked tacky… Id say unless you can get it perfect (either get heaps of practice, or let someone with a lot of practice) dont do it. IMO I would save and get a respray.

Thanks for the info mate, I know what you mean about looking a tacky which is why I am staying away from the matte black which IMO looks the tackiest. The quality of the product was decent, but it looked tacky… Id say unless you can get it perfect (either get heaps of practice, or let someone with a lot of practice) dont do it. I just need a change, it really isn't bad enough at the moment to warrant a respray.
My mate is going to wrap part of his FG XR6T so we will get a bit of practice on that first and that will decide whether I go ahead with it or not.
I Plasti Dipped my wheels and it starts to look crappy after a few months, if it gets dirty and you let it sit in the sun for a day or so the Plasti Dip gets stained. Why not get a Plasti Dip car kit?

You might have used the non UV Plasti Dip. I'm contemplating using it to do my wheels again in a sea blue green (aqua) colour

agree with this! fair enough maybe if you're going to do it yourself and have good help and such but I got a few quotes to get the whole B4 vinyled satin black(satin over matte, mattes too...flat..dahh lol, but satin has a bit of shine to it just a bit nicer and more classy IMO) and I got quotes from $3000 up to $3600. You may have already got quotes but just some more info

I have decided to can the idea of wrapping the whole car. After a good polish a lot of the marks have come out and I'm going to get a painless dent repair place to remove all the little dents.
I think I am just going to wrap the roof in a black or gunmetal vinyl like this car:

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans
