Scored some hot salami from the Melbourne Show called 'The Burner'.
Just finished it off with some icy cold beers..... was gewd.

We'll see in the morning if it lives up to it's name.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Hope so. Movies tonight with the GF to see "Looper". she also suggested playing Mario Kart 64 after the movie. Might be an alright night I think.

My sisters partner built a new letterbox for my parents today. There was nothing wrong with the old one, just needed a paint. It looks like some kinda high school project at the moment.. He is a final year bricklayer, I honestly expected better... it even lacks symmetry.

However I am a designer with an eye for detail. Parents are accepting it for what it is because they cant say anything bad about it - calling me weird for saying it looks like crap. He did it for nothing, but why bother doing it if its going to be shithouse... all it really needs is the top layer to be knocked off and redone and the bagging smoothed out (he bagged it because he can't render yet... wtf?). But overall he made it way too tall and awkward looking haha. Should look ok when its done but meh. Its sending my OCD crazy.

Also I booked my Adrenalin experience thingy for the first week of december. Not really expecting much more than the offroading I have done with my own car but it'll be fun going for a spin with the instructor.

Back into said letterbox and claim it was an accident.

The size of this thing would probably write most cars off. The other one was brick too but we knocked it down because it apparently looked like a tombstone. It looked far more appealing than this monstrousity haha.

Yeah you can even buy pre-mixed render in bags these days and wipe it on fairly easily, its not that difficult. He isn't the brightest kid in the world, and now he has to look at his mess of a letterbox everytime he comes round. I pointed out the major flaw but didnt have the heart to tell him it was a pretty sad effort.

I'd get a photo but its dark.

A classic yes, but for me it's the sound if the Merlin.

@jase - you know that pic is a Mustang( albeit in RAAF livery which is odd) yeah? And the Merlin powered the Spitfire.
Not sure if your two posts were related, it's just how it read to me.

Sig worthy.
