@jase - you know that pic is a Mustang( albeit in RAAF livery which is odd) yeah? And the Merlin powered the Spitfire.
Not sure if your two posts were related, it's just how it read to me.

That is VH-BOB which IIRC a 1947 P51-D which runs the Rolls Royce Merlin G.

I believe earlier P51's (possibly P40's?) ran an Allison V12 but the lack of a supercharger limited the maximum altitude the planes could reach as a supercharger is reqiured in the thinner air, hence the switch to the Merlin.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I always knew the Mustang D-K to run a Packard donk. I never knew, till now, that this is essentially a US built RR Merlin.

I stand corrected sir. should have known not to second guess your knowledge of things of a classic nature.

Sig worthy.

I think so . I already know about 85% of their products . More things and details to fine tune, but it looks like something I'm really going to enjoy.

S3 - so far, so good. I see the appeal of the android. I updated the OS last night, and locked myself out by failing the pin code. The galaxy tab will take some getting used to, surely with some tweaks, it'll be rad.

I tried setting it up as much as I could last night, but the girly (who I haven't seen over the long weekend) got a little short, so I had to spend some time away from my new toys!

New job - Sales Rep/Product specialist for a surgical instrument company

Good morning lads
