I want to get something reliable and respectable on my P's. Something safe (more-so after my crash which could have gone much worse)

Insurance payout came about a week after it was deemed a write off.
I got a call saying it was at the inspection place, and that it would take 4-6 days cos they needed 4-8 mechanics to look at it, Got a call 20 minutes later saying that 6 mechanics looked at it and laughed

so 7-10 days is what i was told




also, call me a wanker i dont give a shit, but a sunroof will be a major selling point for me

You're not a wanker. Cause if you are, so am I (may be I am a wanker, but I don't **** as much as others on SubyClub). A sunroof wasn't a major selling point for me but it definitely was a huge plus when I was looking for my Liberty!

So basically, Im driving down a straight road, 50km/h behind a new 523BMW
She indicates left, slows down to about 20km/h and starts to pull up
I move to the middle of the road (still somewhat on the left) to pass her and continue
When i'm beside her she changes her mind, hooks it to the right and hits me on the passenger side (where my brother was sitting)
We somewhat lose control, end up on the wrong side of the road and hit the gutter at full speed, end up mounting the gutter and skid along the grass, barely miss a tree and a rock retaining wall before stopping. Nearly hitting another car.

She ends up behind us somewhere

My car, other than obvious damage had 2 broken rims, 3 popped tyres
3/4 corners of suspension were shot (i'd say that means struts)
driver control arm was bent to shit (maybe snapped)
Wouldnt select first gear properly

and thats all as far as i know
