Those prices are pretty cheap and they are fairly decent to for sound output for what they are.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

So you could install them without using the tweeters that come with them. That small box (I assume its an amplifier of some form) where would you put that?

That's the crossover, You can hide them anywhere in the door.

I'll have to show you my doors in the obk so you can understand it :)

Cheers!

But can you install the splits and crossover with the factory tweeters?

Yep, in the door. Right near the door handle.

Are there any good guides showing on to remove the interior door panels on my model of impreza? Haven't found much online.

I made the trip to JB HI FI and spent the $100 gift voucher I got for xmas on some new speakers. Ended up picking up the Sony XS-GTX1622S for the front and Sony XS-GTF1027 for the rears. Also picked up some spacers for the front. Gonna hopefully get these put in next weekend with the help of the legendary cam!

Which spacers did you buy? I bought some for mine but they didn't fit at all so I had to make my own. I hope you don't have the same problem.

They may work. Mine are the 6" version so that little extra may help you.
After seeing what Cam can do with a car I think you will be fine anyway :)
The sound difference will be huge compared to the paper speakers that came stock.

Thanks mate. I'm trying to learn as much as I can from him. He really knows his way around a car.

New speakers are now installed and sounding much better than the stock speakers. I was slack and forgot to take pics of the install. It was fairly straight forward to install them just took a bit of time to do all four. Ended up that the car didn't come with tweeters from the factory and we didn't need to use the crossovers that came in the box to get the tweeters working. Cam done an awesome job as usual with it all.

Been playing around with the EQ and input volume settings to make it sound better. Found out it sounds the most consistent with the EQ presets turned off all together. Gonna keep at it when I have more time to spend on it.

Thinking about putting in some sound deadening mats to help minimise the rattle from new speakers. Thoughts?
