Which car? I sold the Cressida so that wont do any more things around my work....B4's i hammer and 420 is the best i gotten with my driving Jack...if i maybe drove like my dad i'd get a few more km's on it, but that never happen.... If the car needs fuel put fuel in it if you cant afford it then walk, thats the way i look at it..

My fuel is at 1/4 after 420km. I do maybe 66% hwy driving.
When the gauge was exactly half way, I travelled 300km or so. However I don't believe it means 32 litres remaining. Our tanks are 64 litres right?
I decided to use bp ultimate, about 35 litres to full after buying my car. so ill see how it drives after a few tanks.

Well haven't driven enough to know about the consumption, done 100Km as of last night... LOL! Lame..
Yeah the previous owner would cycle between 98 and 95.. I think I'l just stick to 98, and go through a few tanks before I take an accurate reading

Be warned - unless it has been re-tuned for 95, the MINIMUM for a B4 is 98. Read the sticker on the inside of the fuel flap...
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Used to run my Lancer VRX on 95, cost $50 to fill and got about 350-400kms from it... so the B4 ain't looking so bad...

Filled up 54.51 litres, travelled 573km = 9.5L/100km.

9.5 hey? Thats pretty good consumption...Zac, Your'e right..exactly on E means you'll fill up about 50 litres...I ran my tank down low for the first time and I was feeling pretty confident I still had plenty of fuel left..

I know this threads a bit old, but are the petrol tank sizes all the same?
I drive a Subaru outback bh and thought the tank was 50lt, but from what I've read here some people have 60lt tanks?
Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

64 litres was a Subaru standard IIRC

Mine now doesn't gauge the fuel level well at all..... It will be down to 1/3 of a tank but when I fill up it only takes 30-40L, im getting around 13-14L/100km with the WRX engine lol

I've been filling up with about 46lt when I think it's almost empty even though the gauge shows its completely empty haha
