What would you be concerned about, specifically... It's come down from 12k... I'd day it's priced so cheap as its a company car and the seller is morivated... No attachment...

in my experience when buying cars, if a deal looks too good to be true then it generally is. There's a good deal and then there's a steal. Considering Redbook is suggesting $13k-15.5K (i know market price can be more of a reality than that but still) i'm dubious. I haven't seen the car so i can't make any actual judgement on it but as i said, i'd be concerned.

It's your money and if you see it and think it's a good deal then go for it, all i'm saying is that my "internet impression" based on the info of high km's, company car, current low price and having not been able to sell it even below suggest resale raises a few red flags for me.

I do realise they are big numbers... And was more asking what could be wrong... I.e play in the turbo, needing new shocks etc... Like I said I haven't looked at it either... Which makes it hard too... Not that I'm going to buy it... But my logic says, offer 7 and he accepts... If shocks replaced, turbo overhauled, gearbox attended too and leather given a once over... Wouldn't it be under 13-15k total spent and better than one that hasn't had all the aforementioned done??

Just spit balling though...

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Company car's, though always serviced and "looked after", are always trashed. 255k is a lot for a factory turbo, your average turbo lifespan is half that. I'd be giving the owner the third degree, ask questions upon questions upon questions.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Hi,

Mine has a buck seventy on it, and I am asking $13K. Got offered $11K as trade, and I'm in WA, not with the pull of the east.

Cheers,
Nik

i'm liking the look of that red gt wagon in mandurah.... but i'm going for a look at this thing on saturday for a giggle... also to see what one drives like in comparison to the B4...

i've already been putting the hard word on him over email... and he says it has full log books up untill his company bought it 2 years ago and has been serviced by his brother who is a mechanic in perth.... now that makes me concerned.. and when i emailed back do you have the documentation of what has been done by your brother... he still hasn't replied...

i did some reading on club liberty as they are predominantly gen 4 upwards crowd... and there are a few articles of gt's will well over two fitty on the clock that are still pulling hard and giving no problems....

however... like i said, i'm heading there primarily as a chance to see what one drives like and what not... if i cant find a 3.0r(B) i'll be keenish on the red one that i put a link up to before...

i'll be finding out what an 06 3.0 drives like saturday, as my mate is taking possesion of a 2006 Blitzen sedan.... lucky prick! haaha

So I drove that gt today... Wasn't too bad, but a bit rough... Needed new brakepads or just wasn't as good as my b4... Wasn't slow but the b4 drives much better... Decentr ride for the km... Was actually surprised by that... But felt like it had to try hard when going fast... Least it gave me an idea of what it feels like inside and space wise etc etc...

I drove my mates blitzen this morning! Wow that h6 is smooth! Good power delivery... And I don't know why anyone knocks the 5At... It's sublime!

Ha ha, I've got an auto. Thanks for backing me up. I really like the way it drives and how smooth everything is. Is your mate the guy that's just posted his introduction topic with the red Blitzen?
