Ferodo's are better than Bendix, eh?

Isn't Calibre the house brand for Super Cheap auto? As they say "do not want".

Don't know. Haven't seen anything about them to be honest. I can see that they sell them at Repco, but something is wrong with their site and they don't provide any product details. Calibre is their house brand, but apparently it is from the makers of Bendix...

And that is why it on nearly No menu's anymore. Time is money and all that Jazz Gaz.

Exactly right. Chamillionaire would definitely take the time out to get the bones removed though of course. Right? ;)

I'm open-minded when it comes to this though. Everyone has different opinions but it is those that have/are currently using whatever brand that will have the best feedback. I vaguely remember my dad using Ferodo pads, I just can't remember driving his car with them installed.

You guys have been smashing the GT of late.

Adam,
Is the engine running with the fans on? This is the ECUs failsafe for a faulty coolant sensor. Check if it had corrosion on the terminals, once you find it...

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

You too Pete, thanks for the help mate.

I've just seen a lot said about Hawk Performance brake pads. Apparently they get some good reviews and a few members from club.liberty have recommended them... Does it matter whether I go ceramic or composite on the same discs?

I'll avoid Calibre and Superstop. It'll either be Bendix, Ferodo or Hawk Performance (haven't found prices for it yet though).

They do. Just found this article on eHow: http://www.ehow.com/...-composite.html

It's definitely gotta be ceramic then.

What are the OEM pads?

I bought bendix ultra premium for $80 for the fronts. I've got no complaints.

Also seems like alot of new guys on here are in need of some DIY help.

Mech tech day soon???

I think Hawk will be around $120, but not sure. Ages since I bought pads.

Always chalked it up to me being Adam

Took the camper trailer for a pull behind the 30R SpecB.

Plenty of power but NO TORQUE.
I must have shuffled between 4th, 5th and 6th a million times. Doesn't get pushed around as much as much as the Commodore but the trailer is not full so it only weighs about 600kg instead of about 800kg.

Glad to hear itsfixed Adam.
