I've got an xforce oval muffler sitting in the shed. Yours for $150 if your interested. I'm still running the same one but had bought this second hand to get a custom system made up. Went down the exhaust kit route though

I used to have a 97 GTB with 2.5" dumps, 200cell cat and 3" through to an awesome Fujitsubo muffler. Never droned or sounded bad at any time. If you can get your hands on one, i would highly recommend it!

You have a hi tech muffler that would fit my 3" TBE?Mines still available
I spoke to muffler man today, and he said changing the muffler wouldn't have a noticable enough effect on the drone when cruzing...

Toilet Bowl Effect. A condition caused by an imbalance in the heli that causes it to rotate in a circle, all while maintaining the same heading, swirling around as if it were in a toilet bowl. Most often caused by a bent or improperly adjusted flybar.
But i'm guessing it has another meaning.

He said I would have to get the muffler changed from the 3" to the 2.5" and have a smaller muffler pretty much... that would also result in a loss of power...
I guess I could live with the drone... I don't want to lose power...

See, if I could just copy what you have and have it work on my B4, would be awesome, but the dude said if I wanted power, I'd have noise...Would be interesting to see what you actually have under there.

Doesn't sound right. You can have power and no noise.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

If the Muffler Men near you is anything like the one near me then they are pretty clueless when it comes to Subaru's.
My local one told me my new X-Force would be the same as my Hi Tech but it is a lot louder!
