They are cheap as. May as well wack another in
Will do... one day
I'll chuck the repaired o2 sensor back in and see if the P174 disappears. Funny thing is the car is running great with the old sensor in. Much smoother idle and power delivery.

The repaired O2 sensor works fine.
Now to replace the thermostat.
I did a bit of Googling and it seems the 2.5 & 2.0 gen3's share the same thermostat which is good news. I replaced the Thermostat in my 2.5 a couple of months before the engine was pulled out to stick in the B4 motor. Seeing I still have the 2.5 in the garage I ripped out the thermostat and it still looks mint. So I'll whack that in and see how I go with the code.
Looking for a double win today lol. That would be nice.
1 code down and 1 to go.
Have to let the car cool down so it's bath time for Whitekong. Might even break out the polish. Great day for it today.
Also might hit the gaaaaay gold GT rims with some black this arvo.
Productive day!
And BEER

I started to hate the look of the gold GT rims i was wearing and pulled out the 18's minus the center caps..... one was lost a while back.
It's amazing how motivated to work on your car you get when you like what you are looking at. Love them rims. So much tougher than 17" GT's.
I scored some WRX 4 pots and DBA slotted rotors from Stocky's "returning to stock" sale. The calipers had paint coming off & desperately needed a respray.
So I took to them with a wire wheel with the intention of repainting them in hi temp red. Once they were completely stripped I liked what I saw. I then spent a day & 1/2 trying to decide if red was the way to go or to stick with the natural metal colour which I had already hit with a few coats of clear.
After putting them on the car I realised that red would have been the right choice. Make them pop a bit more with the black wheels.
So when I have time I'll be giving them a few coats of red and I'm ordering some black decals for the raised lettering. Cheers Stocky.
I previously painted the rear calipers red and much prefer the look compared to the silver finish. I guess I needed to see both colours in work to make my final decision. Red it is.

looks good. how does the stone shield on the wheels hold up josh?. i was thinking about doing my 4 pots the silver, maybe blacking out the letters might make them stand out a bit more. but red would also look nice behind the white and black.
edit: just remembered your 18's where always black. losing my shit tonight

Looking good Josh. I do like the bare metal look of the rotors myself as well but red will definitely make it stand out more. So shiny.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille
Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Black would look good. I know red has been done to death but it just works with the white car black rims combo imo.

No mods to the stone shields mate. Perfect fit.
Silver with black lettering would suit your beast perfectly. I forget.... what colour are yours atm?

Cheers Stocky.
No worries bro! Enjoy them. My next car should have them standard haha
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
