Yes sir it's a shitty job. Hopefully neither of us will ever have to do it again  ;)

It makes a huge difference to how the car feels though hey?

I did the ones at the front of the rear diff at the same time. It feels alot better now, my old ones weren't as bad as that though. You would of had a good thump?

As you said is how I was always told what it does. It just feels so smooth when giving it some. All I know is one good thing I did, even though it was the biggest pain in the arse on jack stands.

The difference is awesome. I drove around on the the stuffed bushes for about 6 months and they got progressively worse. I kept putting off the swap knowing it was going to be a prick of a job. So the car felt like & vibrated like shit towards the end.

Yeah big difference mate.

Picked up some 06 STi seats. Had to muck around a bit to get the drivers seat to sit true but all good now. I thought they might not go with the darker B4 blue interior but they actually go together quite nice so the B4 bits are here to stay.

While we are on the subject of blue, my Gates belt decided it was time to shit itself. Luckily I had a spare in good condition.

I love having heaps of spares  :D

No worries. You've got a good thing going; red engine bay, blue interior, is your boot green? :P

Nope but it looks pretty good.  I've spent too many hours cleaning & sorting it out too  :P

Probably leaning towards OCD but I polished the paint and glued some more carpet in.

Nothing too fancy just clean, neat and tidy.

Seats look pretty shit in all honesty..

..You should sell them to me :D

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Had check engine light come up recently. Rear O2 sensor was the culprit.  This is what I found....

The old "wire caught in the tailshaft" trick.

I've put a spare in. Not sure if it's any good though. Will reset the ECU and see how it goes. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be trying to reconnect the wires.

Only problem is, not sure which black wire goes to which or if it even matters seeing they both would be earths. Will find out soon enough.

One is the signal and the other is the heater circuit for the sensor.

It's pretty straight forward which wire is which, Look at how they come out of the sensor. Make sure you strip back and crimp with terminals, Solder is no good for 02 sensors.

I dare say you would have stuffed the sensor if it's been pulled at from the sensor end of it but :(

I whacked in my old sensor and reset the Ecu.  The light went off for about 5 secs then came back on. The old sensor is most likely bad anyway.

Thanks for the advice. Will crimp.

Now I also have a P128 Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)

I recently changed over to silicone hoses on the radiator and found it hard to bleed the cooling system. It took forever to heat up.

I'm thinking the thermostat is stuck open.
