Definitely Mark. I'm getting a set of black Rays that come with a stealthy lock nut included for each wheel.

And yes, I think the wheels suit perfectly. Love them.
Thinking of going white calipers too.

RAYS 17 Hex set. Nice quality, Ive had two sets.

White calipers are nice if you clean them religiously once a week.

Best she's ever looked. I knew those wheels would end up on WK. B)

Yeah it was always the plan.  Did suit the Blue Mica real nice though. Those wheels would make anything look good  ;)

After doing some touch ups on BK I've decided to leave the paint to the pro's.  It's not that I couldn't get a decent finish,  it's just I don't think I have the patience to do the whole car.

Or you could wrap it for me  :D

Good to know the Rays are decent & yes that's the only bummer about the white calipers.  Another option would be to match the center cap STi pink but I'd prefer the white.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Awesome build mate love it

Thank you sir.

I spent last week smashing her around the beautiful "country" of Tasmania and it was awesome.  Once the coilovers were turned right up to near full hard it was amazing. For an aged car she certainly held her own.  The twisties and wide sweeping corners were so much fun and with the combination of power & handling, no corner was an issue. Most of you probably know that the gearbox sploded on the way back home but the driving holiday was magical and has only inspired me to go full nutjob on the rebuild.

The thing I most want to upgrade is the brakes.  They got a bit soft after a few hours of hard work.

Awesome car.  Love it so much.

Upgrade to Brembos or just better pads and rotors on your stock callipers?

Brembos, yeah everyone wants them. Maybe one day, but the price of them is the killer.

It's equipped with 4 pots, QFM pads and slotted rotors up front & vented B4 discs with good pads at the rear.

The fluid could do with a change, I know.

New fluid, good pads & machined discs would  make all the difference. The brakes more than adequate I think.

If I was to upgrade I would most likely go the 316mm OBK front brakes. Rob & Adam never whispered a word about fade on the TTT cruise, they both have OBK brakes.

I never got any fade at all, all due to the rotor size I reckon :)

They got pretty warm and a tiny shudder but yeah never effected the braking performance, mine are fitted with intima pads too which are a street/track performance type pad.

Best of both worlds and get some datsun 4 pots. Spec B rotor with opposing caliper clamping force
