The car has never seen love, it's going to be a rags to riches story.

I know what it needs, i have the parts needed lying around and lots more goodies to get this thing up to standard and pumping 20 psi quickly.

 

Hobokong & I met a few years back and the work that I didn't want to touch then has been taken care of. The last owner spent cash in the right places and has sorted the stuff I didn't want to touch.  It has a low km engine & box that the seller didn't know about but it needs a shit tonne of TT work done as well as panel replacements.... which Whitekong is happy to donate.

 

Bluekong may miss out on HVC this year.

I'm buying a B4 mate.

 

It's white & blue & black & dented & neglected & ugly.

Only boosts on secondary.... nicely mind you.

It's filthy as fork and needs some love but ticks the right boxes..

Awesome. Boss you wouldnt be the same without a TT.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

The idea is to fix it up without spending much then sell it.... probably won't happen like that though. I may keep it if all goes well.

It's been molested & modified badly by many owners in the past but that can all be taken care of, fixed and done properly.

 

It has a pod filter in the engine bay and the MAF has been moved, the intake pipe that connects to the MAF has a massive split in it also so it's throwing a CEL.

Much TT work needed.

Whitekongs ECU & exhaust are ready to be added once the running problems have been sorted. That is the best thing, having the perfect donor car sitting there.

The parting out of Whitekong has been suspended at this point.

Mmm. Does sound like it's been butchered a bit. Hoping you didn't pay much for it. I take it the previous owner just wanted to be rid of it? I know I'd be pulling my hair out if I was constantly getting CELs and didn't have the knowledge to look for the faults.

The previous owner got it for a spastic price but spent a bit on new tyres, rego, brakes, some pannels etc....  he's happy, I'm happy.

The guy who sold it to him had the diagnostic plugs connected the whole time he owned it and got the shits with how it was running and sold it cheap.

 

Fucken lol.

Eric Bana nailed it in his movie "Love the beast".

 

I've seen nearly a quarter of my life out that windscreen. 

 

 

It's a very emotional experience to watch it turn into nothing and then have to say good bye.

 

It's not helping when I look at my front yard, there's parts everywhere & I was told my yard looks like it's owned by a "Japanese coon".
