What a great read! You've done a great job with your conversion, looks amazing mate. Can't imagine the feeling you got when the engine started for the first time!

Cheers mate. I'll never forget the feeling it was amazing. Just when I thought I had calmed down, the ":fork: YEAH"S" just kept on popping out.
@Tim... Cheers mate for the advice on the BOV line. I hooked up a single line as you advised and she's boosting normally again.
I will attach the HVC photos to this thread when I get some time. Thanks go out to Mark and the other photographers who took so many great shots of my car.
Awesome work guys. Greatly appreciated.

No problems man. I can't believe you run 20psi in this thing - must be a monster. I'm happy with 15.

Cheers guys
It was built with love and lots of care. I'm OCD when it comes to my cars and just don't want to settle for second best. I can't say that no expense was spared but, as I said in the build story, I firmly believe that if some part is failing or isn't up to the task then it has to be replaced with a stronger part.
I've been lucky with some good/lucky purchases along the way that have saved me heaps of cash but since the build began I have been unable to force myself to sit down and work out an actual cost figure. And TBH... I don't think I want to know.
One of the best compliments on the HVC was from Dylans partner (Sorry I forgot your name) when we were coming back from Tempus Two winery. She said "Wow, this is a really nice car!" Lol. IMO women are hard to impress so that comment carried a lot of weight.
Aek, the BOV has been turned down from "FULLY HECTIC BRAAAAAH" Hahahahaaaaaaa.

17psi primary... VOD 10psi 3500rpm -4000 ... and then peaks at 20psi at around 4700rpm.
It goes pretty good..... but I want to play up with the big boys now. Undecided of the future of this car ATM.

Dylan's missus is Kelly... and yeah, women are hard to impress... which is why I'm still shocked my wife likes the B4 too... but yours is awesome Josh...
One day, you got to play with my car.... maybe your magic touch can make it half as good as yours... LOL!

Love to Zac. If we can tee it up in a couple weeks we should replace your CV shafts and give it a bit of a check up

Haha... that would be awesome mate!
Those CVs... damn... always smell oil burning on my exhaust pipes...
Magic touch and bam! 20psi club... LOL!
After seeing your white beast, I wish mine was white... Black and White theme is awesome, and yours is insanely clean too... mine is just dented and scratched all over... LOL

Hahahaaa the magic touch would involve a trip down to the Horse Power Factory in Melbourne unfortunately mate.
Ash's (HYPNOTIC) car was the guinea pig for their tunes I found out. Apparently the day after he got it tuned they had the dyno sheet on their website and stated "We now tune B4's".
We all know how hard it is to get anyone to touch the twins so it's great to see HPF have progressed in developing tunes for B4's.

They really are an under-rated car. What dyno graphs don't show is how well they drive around town. They're almost always on boost.

This so true mate.
Even with all the mods they are still a pleasure to drive whether in traffic or on the highway. Tops car.
