Do you have a boost gauge? Best to start with that so you can see what boost you're on and if it is increased by tightening clamps and the like.
In that picture of your engine bay I can see the vac hose to the recirc valve (BOV) on the intercooler doesn't look like it's sealing or plugged in properly. Also behind the alternator there are 3 vac lines coming from the manifold... 2 thick & 1 thin. The thin one on the left looks like it has a crack in it. Could just be the photo but it's worth checking as they get brittle from the heat of the manifold.
Wow! You can see all of that from just the pic? Thats nuts man... you are good... LOL!
I will check all those things out on the weekend and will report back...
But no.. no boost gauge... guess I will just have to see what I can from what I can see and test it out... I will have to get a boost gauge one day...
If you had just asked, I would have done a test drive in your car, late Sat night.
Always keen to help.
off that auto.
Late saturday night... drank too much to drive... LOL!
No worries... next time... yeah... auto sux... but Megan is learning to drive, so she will only drive an Auto... she loves the B4.... so if I ever want a new car, she will keep the B4 for herself... so needs auto...

Boost gauges aren't just for being a fully hektik street racer.
They also show you how healthy your engine is. A very good investment indeed.

Get one man. Doesn't have to be expensive. They tell you so much about how your car is running from day to day.

I think my car only has 176kw, because auto...
Eitherway, good idea would be to get a boost gauge... just so I can see how my boost is going...
Thanks Josh...
