Hahahaaa the magic touch would involve a trip down to the Horse Power Factory in Melbourne unfortunately mate.

Ash's (HYPNOTIC) car was the guinea pig for their tunes I found out. Apparently the day after he got it tuned they had the dyno sheet on their website and stated "We now tune B4's".

We all know how hard it is to get anyone to touch the twins so it's great to see HPF have progressed in developing tunes for B4's.

Haha... if only... LOL!

Yeah it is so hard to find someone who is willing to tune the B4, and is able to do a good job... Oh well...

I think due to the fact that HP-F used to use ECUtek and Chiptorque is the reason they were familiar with how they work, so when they dumped them and just used their HPFlash, they were able to tune mine.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Oh yeah, makes sense...

I got to try to talk to MSR again to see if he is willing to check out my B4 ECU and see if he can do anything with it...

Maybe try tracking down a used Ezy Flash Pro and get a tune set for your car for it from Chiptorque.

Chiptorque are definitely much better than ECUtek, even just give Chiptorque a buzz.

Do I have to spend them my ECU for them to tune it?

Its a 2002 MY03 mate... :)

Not bad, yours came with a tune... I haven't had any pinging yet, so I'm not too worried, but I still feel like I should get more power... but if I wanted more power, I should buy Boss's car... its white too... :)

It's definitely how well the tuner knows the software. B4's are certainly a unique beast and vary even between themselves as to how well they respond to timing and boost.

This!  Well said Tim.

Zac you probably just have a boost leak or two.  Ecutek tunes are ripped on all the time but surely they would have to be better than no tune at all!!!  I've heard that an all amazing ECUTEK tune will eliminate VOD entirely.  Can you confirm this?  How's your changeover point at 3500rpm?  Do you feel a big drop in performance just before the secondary kicks in?

I don't feel much of a drop at all... maybe because auto... and also doesn't kick in second turbo very often because auto box gears up before it has time to spool, so only works in tippy mode.

I don't know if there is a boost leak, which is why I wanted someone to test drive my car to see if it was ok, but all good... LOL!

How can I test for boost leak on my own?

Do you have a boost gauge?  Best to start with that so you can see what boost you're on and if it is increased by tightening clamps and the like.

In that picture of your engine bay I can see the vac hose to the recirc valve (BOV) on the intercooler doesn't look like it's sealing or plugged in properly.  Also behind the alternator there are 3 vac lines coming from the manifold... 2 thick & 1 thin.  The thin one on the left looks like it has a crack in it. Could just be the photo but it's worth checking as they get brittle from the heat of the manifold.
