Hi all thought Id better start a build thread, well My car is only a RX and only cosmetic mods done, Not really looking at engine mods , but anyway here she is warts and all my pride and joy,

Mods done:

WRX front bucket seats

New LED globes for Parkers and number plate lights, boot

Upgraded Narva driving lights

Lowered  suspension

18x8 Icon wheels

Tinted side and rear lights

Ezi Lip

Front and rear guards cut and rolled

Good rear camber

carbon fibre wrapped Bonnet and interior wood look garnish

Black Plasti dipped front bumper and grill

Cannon sounds good a bit dronny at times

Alpine double din DVD player 6inch front kicker splits and 6 inch rear JL audio speakers , very rare JVC white 12 inch subs that flash blue with the bass all powered by 2 x sony 4 and 2 channel amps

Light mirror tint

Front slotted DBA t3 and rear slotted DBA t2 with ceramic pads and painted red callipers.

I think thats about it the car is immaculate as I detail it once a week . hopefully pics will will work

Thanks guys I do like my bonnet wrapped, it looks different to every other Gen 3 over here as its a company car so it grab's peoples attention and protects the paintwork and no reflection.

I bought a 1.5mtr x 1.5 mtr piece of black carbon fibre wrap of gumtree for $20 ,I had a quote from a proper wrapping place and they wanted $500 but that was the genuine 3M stuff  but this stuff has been on for over a year now and no problems with lifting or bubbling at all, so it cost $20 , you need a hair dryer, a credit card and 2 good mates who will hold it up for you, and most of all be PATIENT with it as the dips and the curvature down to the grill was an absolute b!@ch to do but well worth it in the end , had the guys at the clublib cruise the other night fooled as they thought it was the real deal, I high pressure wash it and polish it thats all you need to do so one of the cheapest Mods you can do, it does look sexy on my silver car not sure what it would look like on other colours though, when it looks like it needs replacing Im going to go Gloss Black next time B)

Hi,

Nice photos. Looks like the Freo sheds? Still a shame the motor museum isn't down there anymore, we had a couple of meets down there.

Don't be shy throwing up details of Perth cruises, there's only a handful of active WA members, but there's a fair few lurkers on here looking for events.

Enjoy!

Cheers,

Nik

Yes I know , Fridays cruise was larger than expected, we had WRX's , Liberty's of coarse so gen 1,3,4 no one's game to come  in a gen 5 yet but we had a Foz and even a Silvia I think close to 30 cars so the next cruise is already organised with a request already from a skyline driver to attend but hey its not my call to broadcast it on here , but all I can say is a TUNNEL run is compulsory and my god the noise.... awesome and very cool Suby owners, please PM for any Q's regarding the WA scene as it looks like the WA scene is getting bigger better everyday :yahoo:

The pictures were taken at Karrinup Shopping centre undercover parking and yes the Fremantle "C" shed

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

I would love to Sam but In case I get pulled over from the boys in blue I can quickly pull it off so I can't get a defect/Canary

Im not that cheaky Chris to ask for free ones, LOL but even thinking about the Black tinted ones , dont know how they'd look on silver but I think i could get away with it!

Anyhow might be getting a new front grill and scored a Genuine Grillcraft  lower sports grill from USA, its suited for a WRX but I think a little nip/tuck can make it fit :D
