I chased the IT dream when I was doing 4 unit computers in high school.

 

Spoke to many people in the industry, and they all encouraged me not to go this route. So I didn't.

 

I did that, 4u computing, 4u math, 3u eng, physics...

 

Went to uni, just failed first computer class... redid it in summer school and then killed the rest of it... still don't enjoy programming, which is why I'm a test engineer... LOL!

 

There were other things I wish I could do, like be a pilot and stuff but meh, I like what I do now, for the most of it, decent salary, not up to Shaz's level, but not bad either, and still got a ways to go
