Hey Morgan, remember that discussion yesterday we had in regards to the 'monaro' the one that I said looked chopped and at that point in time there were no press releases about it....

Well today there is a bit more :D

has anyone got the Ryobi +1 hedge trimmer?  If so, are they any good?  I need a hedge trimmer for my rosemary hedge.  Shears arent cutting it anymore (yes pun intended).

Sig worthy.

Everything else in the range rocks Brett. If its just one hedge and only smallish, I can't see it not doing the job.

Hahahaha Bing(1)  loves hanging out in the NSFW thread.  dude must have a permanent colonel !

its about 6m long and doesnt get the sun on one side (so it doesnt grow as well) so its really just the top and one side that needs trimming.

the hedge that is.  Not Bings colonel

Sig worthy.

A petrol trimmer would be overkill.

Mum and Dad had one.

I borrowed it to trim my pittosporum hedge.

FILTHY STINKING PIECE OF RUBBISH.

The shears don't cut clean and just smash the leaves without cutting them, the motor lacks grunt and the shears move too slow and the battery doesn't last long.

I eneded up with a Viking (made by Stihl in Germany) 240v and it rocks.

I know there is much Ryobi love here but sorry guys, everything Ryobi I have bought or borrowed has been junk and Bunnings are the only one who can supply parts.

The only thing I have left is a heat gun that I hardly use.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Jase - I have heard the exact same thing in regards to the hedge trimmer, have only ever heard bad things about it..

As for the rest of the one+ stuff, it is damn decent for the price - the few things I have (rattle gun, 18V  vacuum, multi tool and torch) are decent enough for anything I need them for.

I have not had any experience with their 240V or cordless drills etc.
