Busy morning Nik.

How was the NM win last night, didn't really expect that.

Some pretty shocking umpiring I must say. Bad decisions are annoying but inconsistency is just bad form.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Sometimes it baffles me that you don't listen to what I say. I told you North would win! :)

Umpiring decisions weren't that bad, in the sense no team really got favoured. It must be hard being an umpire when they keep moving the goal posts.

Forkers

I would have given them a few words......most of them with four letters so they have better chance of understanding my feelings.

They have the L89 down as est.$180,000.

Can you explain the slapper bars to me?

Simply...

My idea of a slapper bar is apparently far different. Ha.

Apparently 2 P-platers did burnouts as they were leaving, after the incident, at Garage 88 last night.

What forking idiots. Stupidity needs to be bred out.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Chaps, need your input.

Doing this script / movie planning, I've come up with the idea that the main character (I've called him Ryder for now) is a blue collar worker, 29, (Maybe panelbeater, or something) who had a rough childhood, and has always been into modifying cars. His father is dead, but his father was a good mate to this wealthy business man (Lets call him Dino for now).

Ryder doesn't earn much money, but has a super fast car, and does courier jobs for illegal goods (Not sure what type of illegal yet). His main employer is Dino, who's daughters name is Leila. Ryder and Leila have been good friends for 10 years or so, and Dino has been like a second father to Ryder since his old man carked it.

Dino asks Ryder to do a job for him, running <insert illegal goods here> to another guy, and he accepts, but during the delivery, something goes wrong, and he is stopped, and all the cargo stolen. Dino is fuherious, and sends his daughter, who also drives an epic fast car to get the goods back off the people that stole them. She teams up with Ryder, and they go searching for the baddie (Lets call him Hunter for now), to recover the goods.

blah blah blah happens, and they get the goods back, but it turns out that Dino actually employed Hunter to take the goods off Ryder in the first plce, and "dispose" of him. So Leila gets angry, and convinces Ryder to use the goods to blackmail the wealthy father, Dino, with the help of Hunter. It turns out that the goods were originally going to go to a corrupt cop, and Hunter intervened as he knows that Dino has been using his influence to do shady deals with dodgy cops, and Hunter, wants it to stop.

Sound interesting, or boring as bat shit? Reccomendations for storyline changes?

Ah, so they counter wheel hop. I see. Clever.

Yup.

The bars mounted under the leaf springs.

Under hard acceleration the nose of the diff will rise as the spring 'winds up' once the spring is wound the tyres *brake traction and the process starts over as wheel hop.

The front of the bar hits the front spring mount to limit the wind up.

Some cars (like my GTs, Monaros and my XC :) ) has radius bars mounted from the top of the diff to the chassis for the same *porpoise.

You have already worked all this out, haven't you?

No need to explain your version.  :P

Seems OK.

Why would Dino get his own stuff knocked off?

Short film yeah?

Just needs some skids.
