I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Can you post a pic of Nik's Obk when you inspect it...we never get to see the bloody thing
If I was you, I would take the$8k for your B4 and upgrade to a Gen4 Obk/Wagon asap...I think I read you are expecting a little one, so you may as well sell when you have a buyer.
Nik is a stand up guy and his car is SO cheap for what it is...just buy it

Nick (not Nik, but hi) do you know who's Gen3 lowback I saw in the spotted thread?

Might be bobbyjimmy's without the phat wheels? Don't know any other canberra subyclubbers with an outback I don't think

the problem with niks car is that if i buy it.. i need to sell The B4 private... which could take awhile..
trading is less of an outlay, but i am SUPER Keen on the OBK...
also, as we discussed today it is LOW... and stiff... so will have to see how it goes on my daily commute home... cant have the baby bounced out of the capsule now can i !!! lol

Ah,ok. I don't think I've met him. I think I've seen that car in Fyshwick (opposite that hideous furniture shop) but with different rims. If not, was quite similar...it used to park in that same spot on the regular.

I thought someone offered you $7990? Edit...was that trade-in?
Easy as to onsell the low/stiff suspension and throw something in that's a little more child friendly. It's a great looking rig

Nik, can you fix the 'fork' image already? Seriously!
NO

Yeah me neither. But it has had rota grids in all the pictures I've seen.

It's worth a fair bit more then what he's selling it for.

Bing won't ever find them.
Yep

Ah, don't worry about it dude! I've been in your situation, starting out is hard.
Haha, we did talk a little bit at the Central Coast photoshoot/cruise a while back. Elvis wouldn't leave me alone while I was washing my car in the bay next to you haha.
Yeah me neither. But it has had rota grids in all the pictures I've seen.
Maybe it's temporary?
I also thought he had the engine out at the moment... maybe the new one is in already.

Real Rota's or fake Rota's
Copies of copies are all the rage you know.
I am going to have a crack at removing the Cat tomorrow. I have lots of 1mm stainless to practice on first (a cheap arse china bay Cannon to be precise) so that should be fun.
I will have to tack on some crazy bracing to the pipe so that i don't mess with the geometry of the zorst as the welding will happen off car. (no hoist yet).
[that might not make sense, but I know what I mean]
