this will be a rough guide (and BEST case scenario - most drivers will not likely achieve these numbers)

Sweet...last visit to the shrink for a month is done
Feelsgoodguys.
If bleeding brakes scares you, don't attempt what I'm doing to the Sled at the moment...re-locating the ABS unit to underneath the dash.
So many lines to bend

yeah you get 7 choices. im doing business at the moment if you wanna know anything, and theres a couple of guys on here doing engineering as well i think. i know lachy is.
what uni you going to. Newcastle Ourimbah Campus?
Yea most likely newcastle campus or Ourimbah. Ill might put some down in syd like UTS or Macquarie just to try my luck but normally they demand a higher atar.
What career path do you think doing the business degree will lead you onto?

Cheers guys. All the support you've given me makes a big difference and is greatly appreciated
I'm amazed at my shrink...I genuinely am. I'm just not angry anymore...so nice. My brain has space to think.
I'm moving out the farm for a month or so tomorrow or Thursday...which I'm really looking forward to.
Reno's at my place while I'm gone (new kitchen, new deck and a paint and patch of the walls and ceilings...) so will be a nice change when I get back into town.

they sydney unis are always heaps higher.
it depends really what you want to get into and major in, you can go heaps of directions with the business degree. can major in management, HR/IR, tourism, international business, marketing. can also double degree it with commerce as well. plus you can do grad certs after your degree to give you more certificates/majors so to speak. im planning to do one in OHS when i finish my degree.
Edit: this is what the uni puts down as career opportunities but in all honesty its a pretty vague idea of what you can do with business, can do heaps more really

Haha yeah... a long time ago... I think I started there in 2002, and it took me 4.5 years to finish a 3 year B Tech degree... coz after the first year, they scrapped the degree, since nobody was passing.. LOL!

Haha... my MIL stayed with me for a while when we got married, since she lost her job... wasn't fun... but she did make me a great cottage pie for dinner one night... so that kind of made up for it

majority of time no one knows what they wanna do straight out of school. and if they do chances are they wont end up there.
I did my HSC, graduated, ATAR wasnt high enough, so did a year of Newstep through UoN to get my ATAR up. ended up starting to do my degree in Secondary education, hated it and decided i hated uni so dropped out. bounced around working for about 3 years and now im back at uni doing my business degree. in all honestly dont put too much pressure on thinking whatever you choose now is it and you have to do for life, can always change and transfer credits across easy enough.

Sounds hectic Mark...
I knew I wanted to get into IT when I was in about year 10, did my B Tech (Info and comm systems) degree in uni, and when I got out, straight into a test engineer role for Thomson Reuters... been doing testing ever since... coming up 9 years this year I think...
