Haha... good point... I use my Mac as a Windows machine because I got the Mac from my old work as a broken machine.. which I fixed up... and it has damn good specs...
Some people just like the look of the Mac, or the size/screen,body.... but meh... to each their own... Just thought if you wanted those super thin macbook air, then yeah, you could use bootcamp on it
Yeah I don't give a fork what it looks like. I like the keyboard layout on these asus, they have space between the keys so I can touch type like it is a normal keyboard. Other laptops have the keys literally touching each other and it gives me cramp trying to type to much. Which might be nice for you guys, but not for me.

If you want to save, you have to be prepared to give up those splurge purchases. Seriously, you'll end up very disheartened with saving if you dont go at it full on. You'll be thinking " saving is shit. Im saving but not getting anywhere" whereas if you put everything into it, you'll see results much sooner and be encouraged to get that deposit saved.
could you live without a smoker? probably. and that $100 a month would look much better in your saving account.
Sig worthy.

Nah, chiclet style keys are awesome... that why I'm using an apple wired keyboard with my work laptop, my typing is so much faster, because of the low profile chiclet keys

This is a good resource, I don't inject though. If you want a rub recipe, let me know. I smoke sometimes, but yeah, you can ignore that step as well, nothing else changes. One important thing is that the butcher doesn't trim all the fat off the brisket - this will make it much harder to slow cook if it's leaned.

My only problem is the land price has plummetted so my value therein isn't that great to borrow against.
Hopefully it will swing up.
I'm paying around 227/pweek

Good points mate! I will be cutting it right back.. but to be honest man, just adding $320 to savings over the past 2 weeks or whatever it is, has me pretty excited anyway! I am looking at ways to save on everything..... I have become a bit obsessive with it, I have logged every purchase I have made into my spreadsheet since middle of last month (I have it open on my home computer and can remote to it from my work computer and my phone to update it ) and I have found that it stops me making silly purchases like buying a bottle of coke and chips, or buying lunch because I might feel like Indian more than whatever I have brought in for lunch.
When I go to the supermarket, I haven't been stocking up on snacks... I haven't been hitting up the deli for heaps of salamis/other deli meats and cheeses.. Been doing more meals that I can do cheaply that last longer than one meal..
Expenses so far this month are $414.48 and that includes Electricity bill ($105 for the fortnight - which is about to get a lot cheaper because I have cut a lot of things back) $54 on a fortnightly train ticket, and I also put some money onto my Credit card and $50 on fuel.
So actually feeling pretty good about it hey
