Spewing.

I guess these are just things you've gotta expect to do when owning a vehicle. General maintenance. I try and do as much work to it myself as possible, but with the lack of tools and expertise in Subaru's for now, I can't get what I would really like done myself. And my work and expertise will never outrank Ben's.

Nothing gay about wanting to gain more space in the room.

Unless you are clearing the room for all your all-male orgy's. That would be pretty gay.

this is usually me Zac, but i started doing some stuff this week.  Id get up for a couple of hours, go hard in the yard to wear myself out, then have a couple of beers to hopefully drop me off to sleep in the arvo.  Didnt really work.  But i got plenty of shit done, and ive really enjoyed it.

Thats cool man... I wish I had that kind of motivation. Lol!

Was planning to pave up a part of the backyard for a little more entertainment area... started, but nothing came it... might start doing that again sometime, when I have time on the weekend, so busy for the next few with family stuff... I guess the change in weather might help me too.

It's not hard to do once you get into it Zac. And once you do start, you'll not want to leave it half-finished.

Zac, i can give you paving tips.

Sure Pete... I'm happy to hear it...

It is going to be super DIY, so got grass now, somehow kill it, and put those pavers on the dead grass and some retainer wood or something to make it look neat?

It's not hard to do once you get into it Zac. And once you do start, you'll not want to leave it half-finished.

Thanks man, yeah, once I start, I will do it all, but I haven't even started yet... not even sure how to kill the grass yet.. LOL! Don't know if I have to...

You're gonna have to do quite a bit more to make it a proper paving job man. Why kill the grass and pave on top of it over removing the grass altogether (in the section you want to pave), lay some base down (pretty sure there is something called base sand for paving) and do it properly. The results will be much greater and it'll put a bigger smile on your face later down the track.

Cool... so remove the grass in that area... dig it up hey?

The lay base sand or something... right...

then put the pavers down?

As you can tell, I have no idea... LOL! I should google this...

Edit...what Gaz said. Dig that shit up, lay a deep base of fine blue metal dust, level that out, then pave on top and finish with gap sand. Done.
