On the rs there is about 20mm between throttle body and intercooler outlet.

It's fine though because the intercooler does not foul on anything.

So will you be using some stainless pipe aswell as silicone joiners?

I plan on doing a bulk order from this place http://www.autosiliconehoses.com/ they have all the necessary joiners and reducers to connect the BOV and throttle body. For the main joiner from throttle body to intercooler I was planning on using a 150mm x 70mm silicon joiner, it will need about 10mm trimmed off it though for a perfect fit.

Should've trusted you had it all under control

It's not dead straight but close enough that the silicon hose will flex a little but still clamp down tight.

Got the water pump mounted and all the hoses are run as per the workshop manual for the RS Liberty.
Its mounted inside the fender right next to the battery.
Here you can see how the brackets bolts to the car, both bolts are attached via rubber grommets so there is no vibration. I didn't need to drill anything just added a rubber grommet to one of the bolts which I found on the Foz windscreen wiper assembly.
Here you can see the hose routing, I used one of the heater hoses from the Foz as it had a nice 90 degree bend in it so it would enter the engine bay without kinking. I will need a basic joiner to connect it to the hose once inside the bay.
The fender won't go back on until the wiring harness returns from splicing.
So this is where I'm at, there is not much I can do now besides sorting the BOV hoses and throttle body hose until the wiring harness returns. Oh and I still need to upgrade the fuel pump.

By my maths this has taken ~2 weeks. Amazing work

What sort of clearances have you got between everything immobile on the firewall to the IC? Only reason I ask is that the IC will have a somewhat dynamic position due to engine torque (if you understand my hopeless way of putting it).
I get about +/- 8 to 10mm side to side movement on mine.
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.
MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

The closest thing to touching is just a rubber hose that goes to the heater, it would be about 15mm but I can move it down a little if needed.

Sorry about the photos, too many people looking at them so I exceeded my bandwidth on Photobucket, the bandwidth limit resets on Friday night.
Good news! AM Auto Services have finished my loom splice and will be posting it back to me as soon as I pay them. I have also ordered all the silicon pipe and joiners required to hook up the BOV and it was dispatched from the UK last night. I will be picking up the new fuel pump on Saturday supplied by Pro Speed Racing.
After that its just the exhaust that needs a little lengthening and it should be finished.

Yeah there is a pretty long list of things that could go wrong on a project like this!

Things have sloooowwwwwed right down because I'm still waiting for the wiring harness to return, apparently it was sent last Wednesday so? on the brighter side my photos are back up!
I have installed the appropriate sticker for when this thing gets back on the road
Also got my fuel pump (08-10 wrx) from Troy at Prospeed Racing. You will also note I modified the sticker on the intercooler to remove the turbo reference for added stealth. I will install the pump after the dash because currently the front seats are in the back and all the dash pieces are on the back seat so it would be a big job to take all that out and put back in.

I thought the DW65c was for the late model Subaru's? Does Pro Speed have kits for the older generations?
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
