He He He.

Brett is British,

Bretish.

Yeah he should have asked us first Nik! haha....

Mark - If a dealer gives you a real low ball offer than it usually is just an easy way of saying "I don't really want your car, but if I can get it for next to nothing I will take it and see what happens"

I don't know what the condition of your car is etc, but I would have expected a trade in to be in the range of $8.5-9K

Not sure what to have for dinner.

No idea.

Any ideas?

I am going to butcher shop, the bakery and the local farmers market.

I already have a good array of fresh pasta styles.

Most basic ingredients.

Don't want to make anything crazy hard.

This was going to be my next answer.

Yeah agreed $7k is pretty forking rough then if the market is saying $14K .  However if your car is modded, then they probably will have to go to the effort of returning it to stock.  More than likely too much effort for that particular yard.

Sig worthy.

^^ exactly what Brett said also :) they will want to try and get it back to being as close to stock as is economically viable.

i had the best night sleep last night.  went to bed at 7;15PM and woke up at 7am this morning.  Which is good because I got about 2 hours on thrusday night.

Out to dinner, for a mates birthday, at "Jamie's" tonight.  Not really expecting much to be honest.  i cant help but feel its going to be one of those over-hyped resturants.

Sig worthy.

very true. the WRX i was looking at was far from stock. but whatever. i would honestly rather sell it privately, preferrably to someone off this forum so i know its going to a good home and will be looked after. would honestly do a good price for someone off here so i know it gets looked after.

been blasting the sound system at home for the last hour, turned right up. ive decided its not loud enough anymore. time to go shopping i think

Man I forget the last time o got to crank up the home stereo.  Since having kids probably so thats 5.5years!  Rarely get the opportunity to be home alone these days.

i think everyone likes to think their car would be going to an owner that will have the same love for it as you did. But in reality, once its sold, and youve got the money, what happens to it from there is irrelavant.  you'll be on to something new to love and thats all that really matters.

I'll tell you the worst thing though.  When you have a car that you love, baby, and maintain, then give it to your wife who does none of those things.  Then slowly over time you see it deteriorate into "just another car".   Man I feel sad when I drive our Foz these days.  Its got so many dents, scratches, forking rubbish (this is a major source of argument in our house) through the interior, kids toys (see rubbish) and strange noises that dont get brought to my attention when they first appear.  Plus when I say I want to spend half a day on the weekend cleaning it, I get rolled eyes, and grief for not spending time with the family.

Sig worthy.

i just cranked mine up and gave it a decent run. the only way to listen to good trance/house/techno music is as loud as possible. i hope the neighbours enjoyed it, if not i welcome the EPA warning for noise violations.

currently looking around at what sound system i can buy next thats going to be louder. potentially moving out with a few friends next year, and a massive sound system is a must for us all
