^^ Yep, the even heating is probably the best you can get. Those Raco's and what not are meant for direct flame cooking.

They aren't cheap, but that is a fuckin' awesome deal at 60% off!

I have heaps of frypans, if I didn't I'd be jumping at that. I've never thrown a scanpan out.

I've thrown away three Jamie Oliver branded products because the coating started to come off!!!

They are cool, but the IQ series is the only one still made in Denmark, all the rest (I think all the rest) are made in China now.

$400 pan if you go to David Jones though. But yeah, it is a lot of money either way. I guess it's a bit like a pillow. You'll use it nearly every single night!

Very much so!

Same goes for having a decent knife, love my Wusthof, run it over a steel before each use and it is still sharp after a few years!

Yeah, I need a new knife set. Mine is what we had in the chalet, and it's just been raped by people putting them in the dishwasher.

Remember the Wiltshire sharpening holder that everyone used to have? That gave it a sharpen every time you put it in/out of the holder?

What ever happened there?

All knife blocks should be like that by now.

I think most of the knives they used in those were a fairly low carbon steel and they went blunt pretty quick, and even at their sharpest they don't compare to good quality high carbon steel.

I have no idea of the brand of my knives, but they seem pretty good. I need to run em on the stone though. Just out of practice with sharpening blades these days

I did not know this was happening (not that I am a big fan of Baseball) one of the chicks here is going to it.
First round of tickets are sold out, second round go on sale in a few minutes apparently.

"US Major League Baseball is coming to Sydney, with the opening series of next season - between the LA Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks - to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground next March."
