Turbo was cute.

This Is The End up next.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Thats cool man... I'm sure it works great... mine had just been on quite a lot.... my daughter uses it in the car as a phone... and she plays with the blue light on it too... so probably drained the battery... LOL!

Oh well... all good... next cruise... ;)

Radam, for your streaming Netflix and what not to your TV, check out Google Chromecast - Is a HDMI fob type thing that plugs into the TV and can stream Netflix from your PC to it.

But I've gotta have the laptop running and open, right?

ATV and WDTV both have native apps, and a remote! :) I hate having to use a keyboard :)

I've banged on about it too much for now :) just glad to have it working :)

@JASHADAM read this re: Chromecast

http://www.businesss...ogle-chromecast

So what's the verdict? If you're looking for a simple way to watch Netflix on your television then the Chromecast is more trouble than it's worth as is importing a Roku 3 streaming box for its Netflix capabilities. There are easier ways to get Netflix onto your television screen.

The Chromecast becomes more tempting if you're chasing the AirPlay-style ability to stream Chrome browser tabs from your computer. If you're a keen Google user and you're determined to avoid AirPlay and the Apple TV then the Chromecast might be a handy addition to your lounge room.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

@ams

Hi.

So far I'm impressed with Netflix :) no real problems after I turned off HD! Though I suspect it snuck back on!

It's so much easier than torrenting :)

Very much so.

Hulu Plus has 1 week free trial (same deal, needs a c/c) that has much newer content. It's co-owned by Disney, NBC and FOX and it has a LOT of content, mostly TV stuff but a bunch of movies documentaries and shit too.

Way easier than torrenting.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Nice find Hams! I had no intention of getting one (chromecast) personally because I will just either use a laptop or setup a media PC to connect to my NAS and the network to stream anyways (maybe another Pi)
