In regards to the other, go to the plumbing section of a bunnings and you will be able to purchase required fittings to make it work... not hard at all

It wasnt necessary back then Zac. Everything was analogue because that's what worked.

Now to get my nerd on.... web interface for my watering system is up and running can access it from anywhere with a web connection now

 

put a cam on it too so I can watch it get watered and make sure it actually does etc.

 

It is basic but it works

Its a fuckload harder than plugging it into the "regular" hose connection like just about every other nozzle on the market! I dont want to be a plumber, just want to make water go onto my car/garden.

Same thing with the War-ship and Sub at Darling Harbour, I was quite surprised at how good some areas were setup for the era and also surprised at how old-school everything was, there were entire racks in the coms rooms that could be replaced by a phone sized PCB.

It was freaking awesome, expensive though considering there's no real hands on.

I saw an epic fuckwit driving effort on the way home today. Peak hour. Freeway going north past the city. All the cars in the lane next to me are stopped. Bloke in midsized truck is still accelerating. Im looking at brakelights in front of him. Nope, he's still on the loud pedal. I shout out my window to "forking stop!!!!" Guy plows into the back of the stopped van, which slams into the ute in front of it, which smashes into the car in front of it, which nudges into the car in front of it. All the other cars involved had brakes on! fork knows what this guy was thinking/looking at. This happened right next to me. The ute started to veer into my lane after impact. I leant hard on the horn and he jerked back into his lane as i passed him.

WHAT THE fork IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!! Why are they so hell bent on killing each other instead of just driving home. Its getting so bad now, i actually fear having to drive the freeway in peak traffic.

Then one chick decides she wants to cross 5 lanes and one solid white line, to get off at an exit. She was literally driving perpendicular to the traffic when she crossed my lane in front of me. That was trying to get off at Cambridge st (for perth people) after coming out of the tunnel.

@adam - i reckon youd have loved what i did at work today. Helped rebuild the filler down at packaging. We replaced every rubber seal, cleaned and regreased every moving part. It was awesome watching a 10m long bench full of parts slowly go back together again bit by bit.
