Did you notice Shaun white pretty much took off from the start gate, rather than sliding further down the slope before starting proper. I reckon you just need all the speed you can get to start your run.

Go to Poppy's lane #2 in KUTA off Legian st and ask for directions to the Warrung Bar. It has a sign like the "WB" Warner bros symbol & is in a side allley......Can't miss it really.

 

Then get yourself a couple of magic mushhy milk shakes... WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

 

Freakin awesome. :sarcastic:

Because interweb is free there and it's everywhere.

 

Riding scooter in Bali is one of the best memories in my life. They're so aware of bikes there.

Traffic moves so slow through kuta. you spend half of the time on the footpath weaving past pedestrians, bikes and cars to just keep moving.  

There are no petrol stations around central Kuta so you have to fill up from general stores, they have wooden racks out front with Absolute vodka & Johnie walker bottles full of homemade petrol/ethanol/methanol.

Once you hit the outskirts and head away from the tourist shit the roads are magic. Rice paddies, palm trees to the side... and they all end up at some beach where theres a dude who cracks a beer for you and greets you cause your white/wog/not Indonesian. 

 

Magic place. safe as houses!

 

 

Keep $200,000 in your wallet for the cops if you go anywhere near Nusa Dua. that's about $12aud


Call it the fork off bribe.
