Looks like I'm buying the wrx project of my mate for an absolute bargain. Its an ej207 with 272 cams and a Garrett 3071r twist mount. Should hopefully only take a weekend to get it in my wagon and running. And should make about 3k back by parting everything else out

Adrian, just be sure that your loom is going to work with the engne loom from the wrx...when i threw my old v4 sti engine in my G1S1 leggy, all was going well until we went to plug the motor in...plugs are different on the legacy. You may need to swap your old engne loom onto the new motor...that's the easiest way around the problem, but from my understanding your loom is a bit fugged?

Swaping the engine loom isn't a big job, unless the main loom has different wiring locations and the car won't start.

Its already got a full custom loom for an adaptronic which I will only have to repin a couple of things to work with my dash. And if worst comes to worst I'll get Amauto to make a loom up

Would much rather be prepared to defend my own house and have a strong network with my neighbours than be called up to fight fires nowhere near me. Call me selfish if you want, but my house burning while I save someone elses just isn't really my bag.
