The old gear knob and boot were getting a bit ratty/cancerous looking and have been meaning to replace for a while.
Picked up a Redline Goods in a sale they had on there website a few weeks ago.
Mated it with a Black Cobb 5 speed knob to replace the worn 5 speed leather knob.

Also picked up some whiteline subframe lockout bolts to put in.
Before HVC hoping to get an F badge for front grill and give it a good detail and touch up on some rough marks starting to appear with age.

Picked up my dream muffler for a steal this week 3" inlet twin tip hitech needs a hanger mod and a chop and pipe onto my system but it was too cheap too say no. Actual body is in really good nick.
Hopefully get it fitted before hvc
Also fitted some MY08-13 wrx/forester diff inserts bushes with some trimming to stiffen up the old diff bushes in the cradle, no clunk on 2nd gear snap now
thread for those interested, should suit SGs and GDs as well i assume.

Been a while since an update.
Since tune car has been great gets between 10-11L/100km around town with mixed driving and got 8.87L/100km best going to Tempe and back from newcastle with some traffic the other day.
Still puts a smile on every time i drive it
Got a service 2 weeks ago rolling over to 172,800km on the 16/7 involving a oil and filter change with UEC before hand, fuel filter after some total fuel system cleaner int he tank beforeand also rotated my tyres.
Also installed some HEL braided brake lines i picked up on ebay for cheap brand new a while back.
Picked up a few bits and pieces when i got my tax back and chucked them on today with Cam.
1KG CAMS extinguisher and $3 worth of gal from bunnings and i have myself a sturdy extinguisher mount on passenger side (excuse interior needs a good clean)
Cusco master cylinder stopper (just waiting on the red part that sits on the cylinder to turn up as it was missing in mine)
Zerosports Rad shroud
Also rerouted my catch can to the crank case instead of the head
Gave her a tub when we were finished
Thought id also chuck in a comparison of the TurboXS muffler and the Hitech twin tip i have changed to.
Not much in it, Hitech is a bit quieter cruising around but mostly sounds the same.
TurboXS Oval 3.5" tip
Hitech Oval twin tip
Also as of Monday i will be living and working in Tamworth as i have secured a graduate job at Tamworth regional council since graduating my civil engineering degree, will miss the car scene around Newcastle and the regualr hangouts with the guys around here but hope to still get to the regular events.
Cheers
Lachy
