On that note, I'm going out for a coffee and dessert.
What's the "cheap day" for petrol guys? Does it still exist?

Not anymore.
It's now a 2 week cycle.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Used to be.
But I've noticed it now cycles fortnightly / weekly, depending.

I buy fuel when I need it
Lol, I just take a trip to Ichiban when I need fuel. There's a caltex up the road from them that never goes above $1.60 for 98...

Doesn't that cost you more money, considering you have done like 50 kms by the time your home?

That was sarcasm bro. I normally just fill up local. But if I'm down that way, I'll fill up at that caltex.\
Ohhhhh that's on the way home! Where's it at?

Yeah I'll have to find out, it's on my paycheques so I have proof if they haven't been doing it.
I'm not saying they aren't doing it - I'm saying you should know who your super fund is with, surely you're getting mail from them?

Over 60 years family experience in the fuel industry, I can tell you it never existed - it only existed in the minds of the public.

Holy forking shit Gary, that is totally cubted..... your rant is exactly the sort of rant I would have posted, surprised really! but forking hell, there are some filthy trash with no right at all to love in this world.
What kind of sick demented piece of crap does that????? I can't comprehend that... people who do that shit should be captured and tortured until they die... but doctors should try to keep them alive so that they have years of torture to suffer.

Can;t say I have 60 years in it but I did work at a BP for a few years towards the end of school/year afterwards and there was never a cycle of pricing that was dependent on the day of the week... prices changed based upon the invoice price of the petrol that was delivered, I would get the invoice, call the owner with the cost price including delivery and he would tell what to put on the board.
