The best mods you can do for drivetrain slop are rear diff bushes and a group n gearbox mount.

Pitch stop helps slightly, Nothing major like the other two though.

Replace every bush in your shifter assembly for the icing on the cake, So nice!

Yeah i've done the linkage (genuine) and kart boy rear bush and the big round shifter one

Still got left to right slop in the shifter, seems to be movement in the gearbox itself.

Don't really want too much NVH though with the diff bushes :P

Left to right slop was this thing here for me, the rubber grommets on the inside had worn away completely giving it room to move (seems to be pretty common for 5 speeds)

The upper one didn't really fix the side-to-side for me

I bought a brand new one, it shifts well except the left to right movement while in gear

Same with me. Apparently they weren't easily visible and those that claim they got hard done by by the cops for not displaying them correctly was the matter in question. I used to have them inside my car in plain sight as well. Stops noobs from taking them off my number plate which happened way too often. I've got a massive stack of red and green P plates from the RTA because of it, ha ha.

I'm sure my brothers will make good use of them.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.
