Yeah I think I will have to call in sick one day to get this done. He can tell me if the engine is going to explode or not, because I swear the pinging sound I keep hearing is not coming from my engine, when I'm driving, it sounds like it is coming from behind me, on the right, near my rear passenger door. Bah!

Well, I'm not getting a bike anymore now, so if it is the engine, I spoke to Ben via ebay mail and yeah, I can get a low kms JDM Legacy engine dropped into the car for a pretty good price I think.

But best to get the car checked out by someone who knows what he is doing first

+1.

You're in safe hands with the boys at ICHIban man. I've been taking my car there since I bought it.

Talking about mechanics, having a good laugh at Facebook mechanics. Some guy has posted up a video of an obviously slipping clutch after he installed an CAI. And I'm amazed to see the amount of people saying it's the Afm causing the issue and a tune will fix it

Wait so the cai didn't give him a hetic power increase to make the clutch slip?

Wow!

I guess it does depend on what is getting done.

Yup, so that should be pretty nice. Just wish I could do a manual conversion at the same time. Lol!

Ouch! (Not reflecting on the value of what is being done, just $2k on repairs is a nasty amount of repairs).

Yeah I like the idea of Zac taking his car to Ichibin, a lot of people here seem to swear by them and give good reviews - So would answer your questions Zaccy and we wouldn't have to talk about the same issue almost every day :P

That is robbery. Farkk... They would want to be giving out blowjobs included in that hourly rate, those are lower end prostitute prices.

Almost as bad as the time Brett paid $400+ to get a thermostat and coolant changed on his forester.

I think at the parents workshop it is about $75-$80 an hour at the moment.

Yes Josh, we won't have to speak about it ever again.

Imma just stirring you up nurger.

I don't think the turbos are better at all, the tune is though, on Legacy models.

No clue, but it is Ben

Imma just stirring you up nurger.

Sure you are ;)

True, but I don't know if it will include the turbos, or just the engine using my existing turbos.

I might ask him about it when I give him a call sometime. If it includes everything, I'd be more inclined to just drop in the JDM engine even if my current engine isn't going to blow up for a while

Don't they use a different turbo?

Or is that just the gen 2
