Some Series2 GX's were FWD. Ex-gf's brother had one. Was optional in Gen Juan, Gen2 AWD was across the board.

early model LX gen 2 had FWD :P

Good work! Yeah awd conversion plus manual conversion is a massive task probably wouldn't bother imo

FWD goes harder anyway

I've owned this car for a whole year today, heaps has changed but there is still a fair bit I want to do to it before I think about selling or upgrading.

Today was also the first time I ever (apart for aircon regass) took it to a workshop to get something fixed, that being the gearbox being replaced because the diff bearings were so noisy they gave me a headache on long drives. I decided to just keep it auto for the time being as the hassle of converting to manual and the noise was just getting too much.

I forgot to add before that I was lucky enough to find a boot mat that was in almost prefect condition at the wreckers and scored it for a cheap price. We've also been slowly getting the tools together to think about spraying the panels the same colour but we're going to have to practice a fair bit before it'll actually happen. Not sure if it'll just be the same colour or something a little easier to spray.

Lookin' good, and it looked really nice compared to where it came from on the cruise to Hunter Valley a few weeks back. You've put a lot of effort into her mate, well done.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Thanks guys

Only reason the bonnet would ever go black was if the whole car was going to be that colour  . I'm probably just going to go back to original factory colour, or something similar

It'll be a much more worthwhile car to spend money on and it's actually a liberty with an outback bumper, big thing in America I think?

I approve this motion.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Congrats mate.

I only showed it to him briefly on Monday and we went to see it last night and gave a deposit. It'll be at work for the next few months so you'll be able to have a good look at it.
