Nah thats the rear demister switch. Gen3 seem to have had the switch for the windscreen heater as an option. I believe that would be the switch found on the shifter surround, where mine is blanked. Also i noticed the blank switch to the left of the rear demister has a plug in the back, dont know what it does!

When changing the lines out of your VOD generator box, be sure to not forget to put the restrictor pills back in! Forgot to do this yesterday, epic VOD.
Notes: Seems line 2 in the box controls the changeover point. No pill saw max 5psi out of primary before it wanted to change over, normally 10psi out of primary. Overall, after upper engine clean and box line refurbish, car is very willing to rev happily and ill report back on how well it changes over. This car already has a very slight changeover, hoping to improve on it, will report tomorrow!

Well, on primary it was shit, barely 5psi before it wanted to changeover. But gee willy, when it (finally) change over, had a whopping big thrust. Have fixed the issue now. Ill report back tomorrow at Hooters!

Good work on tackling to BBOD.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

It's a tough job that's for sure. Just have to take to it slow and do one hose at a time. Hard part is getting the hoses at the back of the box without dislodging hoses you've already done! Obviously when you're using plain black hose, the numbers are gone. Good to take a few photos before hand incase you make any mistakes.
I also forgot to move across a restrictor pill ( Line 2 for those playing at home ). Luckily i knew exactly what i did wrong as soon as the symptoms showed up while driving. Whoops.

Here's what i did over the weekend. Had a go at trying to restore some of the crappy weathered out parts in the engine bay. Used a metal polish and a whole tub of elbow grease, didn't come up as well as i thought but better than they were!
Also resprayed my windscreen wipers and they came up a treat. Also had to take a shot of the colour of this thing in the light, looks tops!

Just a gloss black acrylic i had left over from when i had the XR5. Hung em on the washing line and went for gold.

BOSS, that thing is a lost cause. Top of it is totally rusted out. It needs to go in the bin or on someones track hack where zero grams of shit are given.

Did you have any trouble removing the arms to respray them? I tried to do the same a few weeks ago and thought I was about to snap the arm off. (Yes I did remove the bolt haha)
Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

Yeah i had the same problem with the passenger side one. Just gave it a few taps, jiggled it and it eventually came off.
Will give it another whirl tomorrow, and see if i have any more luck. They look soooo much better painted!
