It's pretty fun.
Sometimes boring though. The two guys that responded to the fatality yesterday ended up doing traffic control for 5 hours.
They got mad abused by motorists too. People have no respect. Some old dude lost his life and they say "that's not my problem" - all because they want to get to the shops 10 mins quicker...

Probably true. Most people join the fire service because they love fire
I'd say it's more likely that stupid ratty pre-teens light the most fires.
