Only went this color finish as the coater said its the most durable to the elements, mostly water splash when hot with there being no under tray on the car.

They do keep under the engine pretty clean though.

The tbSTi has its fitted still @ 152k. Pulled it off to do the oil/filter and everything underneath was still so clean, compared to the rest of the car........

I made sure the insurance company replaced my nappy after it was ripped out in my ditch incident.

It's only half a dozen clips to access the filter. Worth it for a clean undercarriage ;)

Aaaaww you guys suck. Too many good points means I'll have to source one for the Legacy now. Will go oem though.

Hahaha i did this on my gen3 as mine didnt have one

Did a before and after on the MSR dyno when i had the STi top mount and it was so much more consistent and efficient with the undertray installed...kinda blew me away actually

Michael had a big explanation on why it helps and how it helps to draw the air through the engine bay...but to see it on the dyno made much more sense

Once i went front mount i pissed it off though lol

Good idea staying OEM...they look heaps tidier ;).....just tear off the absorbent nappy before you put it on as they hide to many leaks that youd notice otherwise

Thats not to say that it will never leak though ;)

Those headers will cook out whatever leaks onto it pretty fast anyways :)

Changed my LHS rear window out today. Got a s/h one from a Rev D E-tune in Japan. Mine had a large scratch in it from the guide. Only annoying thing was I had to redo the sound deadening matting again.

Inner is as clean as the outer. :D

Nice big scratch....

No scratch. :D

Win. How much sound deadening do you do, Mark? I'm really wanting to quieten up my wagon but I dunno if I can get it to the level of quiet I want.
