I use a dual, works fine.......sometimes

I reckon just having an SSD makes the biggest difference in speed.

I believe the "sometimes" part is the issue here.

 

I reckon just having an SSD makes the biggest difference in speed.

SSD is more for read write. Processing speed is where its at. Lol! More RAM, More Cores!

Yep, and when running pretty much any program you will notice a speed difference by having an SSD.

They sure do, but whack them in Raid 0 and they will perform like a beast.
