Have just purchased these goodies off Yahoo auctions and cant wait to go home and fit them. RFRB Grille will definitely be my favorite
Now to keep an eye out for a STi Genome muffler straight fit for my BE. So many for BH but none for BE =(

So after waiting a couple months for my xmas trip home i have finally been able to get back to work on the Subaru. New clutch was all fitted while i was away. Went with Exedy.
Before and after pics of engine bay with new parts fitted. Also gave her a quick clean as she was pretty grubby under their

Also as originally planned i wanted to give her a cut and polish as i dont think the previous owner knew what clean even meant. I was pretty shocked with the results as the car came up amazing. Was like brand new again
First stage was just a wash
Then a buff with cutting compound
Followed by a claybar
Then waxed
Then a beer
Before
After (Ignore the touch up paint on bumper. Will get front and rear bar resprayed)
Also RFRB grill fitted

Haha yes. When i get a spare day im going to get in their and give her a proper clean

Damn dude, that engine bay came up nicely.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Sweet.
Should have clay barred before the cut and polish.

Came up a treat! Although I would be necking beers at every stage of the process.

Yeah the fact that prior to a clean their was no gloss at all. Definitely makes me a lot happier walking back to my car now. I tried that with the beers but it was a warm day and after a couple she was getting a bit weary

Now it was time for the 4pot preparation
Ive always been told that the cleaning part is always the main part and should always take up most of the time. So off i went to get a few cans of degreaser, a wire brush and some heavy grit sand paper
I forgot to take a photo of them at the beginning but they were filthy. Covered in a thick layer of grease. Took me a lot of scrubbing and sanding, then the came out like this
Prep
First coat
Final coat (1 full can for both)

What a result, looks so much better! Get yourself some chrome finish indicator bulbs to get rid of the melted Cadbury Creme Egg out of your headlights

I had a read over you post the other day and seen that you changed yours. I must admit it looks a lot better ae without that queer orange tinge. Do you have a link from where you got yours from Jimbo and the size

I got them off-the-shelf from Autobarn. They were Narva "Phantom" Globes. I probably paid too much for them but I think Supercheap do them in their own SCA brand but they were out of stock when I looked. The SCA ones would probably blow after a month anyway. May aswell pay the bit extra for a good brand like Narva. They were about $20 a pack of 2.
Just normal twist offset bayonet ones. I don't think they come on any other arrangement.
The pics don't do it justice. Looks much better in the flesh.
Fark, wish I had seen this earlier
