This was originally an initial expression of interest for a Subaru Liberty / Legacy BD BG Bonnet Hood Strut Kit Group Buy but due to interest from members with other models i'll extend it to include all Subaru models.

As us many of us gen 2 owners know, we seem to be the forgotten model when it comes to hood dampers (apart from some increasingly hard to find and ever more expensive Tein and Prova items) but after some looking around i've found a supplier who would be willing and able to make up some custom sets for us.
The minimum required for them to produce these would be 12 sets. They would me made in the USA and shipped to SubyClub Towers here in Sydney.
At the moment the cost would be approx $104 ($91 USD) + shipping but i'm hoping to get that down (i know you can get some of the asia spec ebay ones Taiwan or China for around $60 for other models. That said these look like really well made items so might be worth the extra coin).

"Remove the Hood Prop for Good!! Hood Struts make it so much easier to work on the motor without the hood prop always in your way.
Kit comes with struts, aluminum CNC'ed hood mounting brackets, fender brackets, stainless steel hardware, and it can be installed in 5 minutes using existing bolt holes!
NOTE: some Subaru models will require the smaller fender brackets be drilled and tapped for installation. The hood brackets use existing bolt holes (on some models) so no drilling is required.
This kit raises your hood a full 3 inches higher than the stock hood prop!!

Also, for everyone else, these guys make struts for other models so if your also interested i can see if we just make this a GB for hood struts for all models. If your interested in other models please post up EOI below as well and i'll contact the manufacturer and see what kind of deal they could do for us.
