Subaru were well and truly the sole distributor by that stage of the game, but some rural/semi rural machinery sales yards did cross from the ag gear to the brumby/DL's around 1977. Which still made it a Subaru 'dealership' - in the same way you can buy a Massey Furgeson from a John Deere dealership today.


i'm fully aware of that. i may be an idiot but i'm not an idiot. just saying that even after almost 10 years of subaru moving into australia they were still using heavy machinery dealerships to sell their cars. by my logic i assume that they would an entrepreneurial farmer or two who may have imported a few before subaru started proper operations.

I could give you guys the phone number and email addresses for the head product planner or marketing manager for Subaru Aus..... But I would be made into the next Jesus minus the ressurection bit.

i disgust even myself sometimes... some times i just blurt whats on my mind no matter how grotesque it may be... and other times i keep some comments to myself coz sometimes im around people that dont have a sense of humour for gutter talk.. which is spewing coz sometimes i have some real winners but have to tone it down haha..

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.
