How long can the B4 go on Empty? I usually fill up as soon as it's close to having the light on, But when i fill up it only usually takes around 50L's (leaving 14L in the tank for empty for the empty light) How long have you guys driven on empty?

Does anyone else think fuel pumps are slow? Takes forever filling up the car, maybe i'm just impatient :sarcastic: or maybe it's "slow" for safety reasons

How long does your battery last if you don't drive the car?? (serious question) as mine seems to go flat in bout 2 days (max) if I haven't driven it. New battery 2 weeks ago, went for pretty decent drive Sunday, little drive Monday, didn't drive it yest and this morn it's flat :dash2:

Should last at least 2 weeks without driving it! Disconnect it next time ;)

Buzz, Sounds like your battery is cactus. Take it back for a replacement. I just had the same problem with the Celica. Get it replaced. New one sits for a week or two without charge, and still kicks over the car (first go too)

with the fuel pumps, if they are too fast the splash back from a thinner filler tube will cause the pump to trigger off thinking its full and is a hassle for the person filling so they slow it down. There are high flow pumps but this is generally for diesels and they have a larger nozzle. Man 2 days for a battery to go flat is not good... I accidently left a map/reading light on in the car the other night and come back the next afternoon and the car still kicked over perfectly.

This battery is the replacement, last one shat itself (dropped cell) after bout 5mths but it never lasted either.

BTW they're "Super Charge" batteries - reccomended by the dude at autobarn, anyone have any opinions on these?

That's nothing, I left my headlights, My A/C, my radio, a microwave and a hairdryer running off the 12v socket on for 14 days straight, and it kicked over perfectly

I have a supercharge battery in my car and I have left a map light on overnight several times and never had any issues. Have you taken the car to an auto electrician to check for a test that shows where power is being used even when car is off? Do they have those? Jesse
