That's the Moore performance 5 speed manual strengthener/brace... Suppose to minimise flex at where the 2 parts of the transmission casing join... Apparently helps the sycros too...

I found the article yday...

Sorry, I was referring to the engine bay in the background! You can see the red sprayer brace over the intercooler!

According to my colour code its Garnet Red Pearl or Cayenne Red Pearl in the US

Odd, was supposed to be Core Red until 2006, unless they use the same colour code.. not that it is important :D

Ive taped into the rear washer pump for now...

Will eventually get another bottle n pump probably from a VT/VX commodore as theres apparently fits right in the guard but seeing as I have a CAI might not work... Or get something smaller n mount it against the firewall..

I also have an sti IC switch that I need to wire up as per this thread...

These also arrived the other day thanks to Greg at GSL Rallysport/Direct brakes and their 20% off EOFY Sale

Ive already put in the steering rack bushes and already theres a big difference in steering feel... Much more direct and less effort required when turning the wheel.. Great bang for buck for less than $15!

Will try and get the roll centre kit in 2mrw if this rain stops...

So I still havent got stuck into the roll centre kit yet but I have however redone mine IC Sprayer...

Found an old washer bottle laying around in the garage from my bros old satria... Fits perfect between the IC and strut tower..

Needed to trim the bottom of the STI IC Sprayer Switch to fit

Works perfect with just a touch of a button
