I've got one of the Beatrush ones off I.M, whoever had it had cut out a hole and put nut-serts in to hold a plate that covered up where the oil filter is.
Yellow man magic it is.

I thought about doing this when i first mounted it up then figured its only 4 bolts to it take off

If you do end up making one use 2mm as 3mm was hard to bend

2mm is getting pretty thin, wouldnt that just be useless if it was easy to bend? I would have thought you would be using 5mm if your serious about protecting underneath better then the oem plastic.

You've definatly done a decent job though.

According to Leftys DIY on ozfoz he used 6mm and found that too thick and suggested using 3mm... 3mm was still pretty hard to bend as i had to make scores to fold it.

The Beatrush ones are only 2mm but i think they are made more for an aerodynamic purpose than protection...

To be honest, I would have thought it would have been more for protection rather than aerodynamics.

You want it to be hard to bend. No point in making one out of aluminum foil.

Nothing on the cards except those brackets for my brake lines seeing as those coilovers you sold me dont have them lol :scratch_one-s_head:

I have way too much spare time on my hands...

Drilled some holes in my rear strut top covers so I could easily adjust my coilovers

Decided to make up a rear floor bar so went to Bunnings and bought 1m 1.2mm x 25.4cm x 25.4cm aluminum square tube

I hope you just used them for mock ups, and not for the actual brace mounts.

Just picking at small details. But if your car is an MY04 shouldn't it be Core Red? Garnet is a 2006 on-colour.

Yeh they are just mocks ups for now... Even though they are 3mm thick and dont flex... Im making up proper brackets with something more solid

According to my colour code its Garnet Red Pearl or Cayenne Red Pearl in the US

IC sprayers are awesome. Dropped temps in our drift 180 from 150 to ~70 in seconds! Radiator blew the next run anyway, but what do you expect from a Nissan. ;)

Car looks awesome man, so many cool ideas executed really well. Great job.

Nah, it's the bar across the top, no sprayers/lines mounted etc.

2002 Outback - it's gone...
