Had a fantastic little suprise in the workshop today for some electrical work.

A VW T3 Caravelle, At first i noticed it was lowered and looked tidy.

Went to bring it in the workshop, Heard the distinct sound of a walbro fuel pump and turned the key, Lumpy as!

I found: A EJ251 (RS impreza), Cams, Exhaust and heaps of custom bits to make it all work. Rang the customer to confirm what I was fixing and mentioned how cool it was and his reply was to take it for a good drive and give him my opinion.

Had some suspension work, sport tyres on the stock wheels and brakes to suit as well. Very cool car, Didn't give it a flogging as it wasn't mine but it sounded fantastic and went very well.

Even had ducted air con and a bed in the back :P

Geez. Mission. Especially considering the morning Wollongong to Sydney and afternoon Sydney to Wollongong traffic...

So you'd travel along King Georges Road and cross Canterbury Road daily?

Nice. I studied Architectural Technology at TAFE a few years ago to become a draftsman, then to go to uni and study to become an architect. Plans didn't go ahead and I lost interest in it. Never lost my passion and interest for drawing though.

Ha ha ha! I was thinking of going to study naval architecture in the Navy before I went to TAFE as well funnily enough. What I designed were plans that were realistic, none of that abstract sculpture-like creations that some architects tend to create. They're just artists that have a Bachelor or Architecture. :P
