B4's that have been 'ed with are the worst. So glad I found a stock as a rock one owned by middle aged men. In 2 weeks it will have been 2 years since one of my better decisions in life. But yeah, its been no trouble. No worse than any other car. Other than getting my head around the brant to start the thing. Even handles the heat up here like a champ.

Did my first one last year for a good mate, Never again hopefully.

He's still loving it and has done around 20,000k's since the conversion and engine build.

So much torque with the 257 bottom end and VF34.

That would be your purge control solenoid valve, I bet you broke it by accident

It's for emissions, Purging fuel vapor from the carbon canister into the inlet to be burnt off. It won't give you a check engine light as long as you keep it connected, No matter how broken and leaking it is.

Until you get a new one, Just remove both lines and let them sit near it. It's only a very very small amount of fuel vapor, No danger.
