Harry - $78 for the console itself, i dont even have an xbox 360 at the moment, so gotta buy it first, $78 through eb games. its a pre owned one but dont really mind as long as it works for that price

Thats cheap but you do get what you pay for. Those old orignal 20GB consoles were the ones that failed all the time with the red ring problem. I know mine did. Also they lack a HDMI port.

my brother has the game already so no need to buy it, will just borrow it off him when i want to play it.


hmm i know they have others for a bit more, might spend a bit extra, $130 or something for an elite console, i dont care particularly about the storage, as long as it has HDMI im happy. might sus it out at EB this afternoon if i get a chance, ive got a voucher for the shopping centre here i have to use soon

That would be alright because you do get HDMI and they were a bit more reliable. My one is that same as that and I have had it for 3 years and its still going strong.

But if you didn't care about storage I would pay the extra. Get the newer design with much better cooling and its heaps quieter. Also you will get a full 12mth warranty with it.

Tried Gumtree? You can get a console with a bunch of games and controller's for under $200.

Though, I bought my Xbox 360 from a store I HAD to get the limited edition Star Wars one

would rather use my gift card towards it to be honest than buying off gumtree, save myself some $$$ this way, cant find anything else i really want to put it towards

Only just saw the gift card thing. Do you have a Gametrader's up there? I'd probably go there instead of EB.

Nope. Also GAME wen't bankrupt so EB games is the only dedicated game store around.

That sucks. I had heaps of Game points, it was balls! However, I bought like 20 Xbox games from their closing down sales.

The old "Fat" Playstation's are the one's to get. My fat PS2 and fat PS3 were still going several years later. The slim ones always seem to have problems.

ive had my PS3 now for prob 4 years havent had any issues.

if it has a HDMI port and is only gonna cost me $78, ill just buy it, if it RROD's 12 months down the track well ive still got my moneys worth out of it in my opinion.

EB games or JBhifi are my only options out of the centre i have got the gift card for

I'd guess you'd need it to be engineered. Especially if it had about 20000 vents and scoops, as they tend to do.
